Accountant – Corporate Finance

About the role

We are seeking a rigorous and reliable Accountant to join our corporate finance team. The successful candidate will support daily accounting operations, month‑end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review, and control daily accounting entries.
• Prepare account reconciliations and justify balances.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank transactions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Assist with VAT returns and other routine tax‑related obligations.
• Contribute to accounting and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting procedures, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a corporate environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
• Well‑organised, rigorous, and able to manage priorities effectively.
• Ability to work autonomously while maintaining strong team collaboration.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch is a strong asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Horus accounting software.
• Experience using Nebra.
• Knowledge of Silverfin.
