Web CMS Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Web CMS Specialist to join our Learning & Development team in Brussels. You will support the EEAS learning ecosystem across Drupal, EU‑Learn and Moodle platforms, ensuring smooth operation and continuous improvement of our digital training environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Moodle v4.5 LTS for an increase in course managers, configure groups, categories, access structures and permissions.
• Analyse feasibility of adding podcast channels to Moodle and plan migration to Moodle v5.x.
• Support creation and maintenance of Moodle courses, including video talks, presentations and other learning media.
• Maintain daily operations of the EEAS Drupal intranet Learning Center and EU‑Learn training offers.
• Design and publish e‑learning content in SCORM, MP4, PDF and PowerPoint formats.
• Assist with audio‑video recordings, post‑production, closed‑captioning and translation workflows using .xliff XML.
• Provide second‑line support for LMS/CMS tools, manage functional mailbox and translate service requests into technical requirements.
• Gather incident feedback, improve processes and keep documentation repositories up to date using OpenText.
• Support preparation of L&D metrics and participate in all team activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience with LMS systems.
• Solid understanding of LMS roles (editor, course manager, end‑user) and CMS roles.
• Proven experience with CMS solutions, preferably Drupal.
• Moodle experience is highly desirable.
