Vendor Quality Lead & Qualified Person (QP)

About the role

UCB is strengthening its External Supply Quality department and seeks a Vendor Quality Lead & Qualified Person (QP) to drive strategic and operational quality assurance for global contract manufacturing organizations. Based in Braine l'Alleud, you will act as the central QA contact for vendor‑related investigations, deviations, audits and product quality reviews.

Key responsibilities

• Lead QA investigations, deviation reviews and audit follow‑ups for assigned vendors.
• Manage vendor performance metrics, quality agreements and periodic reviews.
• Ensure timely completion and documentation of Product Quality Reviews (PQR) in the UCB EDMS.
• Represent QA in recurring vendor meetings, presenting issues and driving improvements.
• Coordinate quality complaint handling with vendors and oversee batch release activities.
• Provide expert QA advice on technical, operational and strategic matters.
• Support corporate QA, technical operations, business stakeholders and affiliates.
• Assist with customer audits and health‑authority inspections at vendor sites.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in Quality Assurance within a GMP‑regulated environment.
• Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and quality agreements.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and product quality review processes.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
