UX/UI Designer

About the role

As a UX/UI Designer at Cuez, you will shape the experience of cloud‑based broadcast production tools used by newsrooms, sports studios and universities worldwide. Working closely with product owners, clients and engineers, you will translate complex, information‑dense workflows into calm, intuitive interfaces that support high‑pressure environments.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end design of features, from requirement gathering and user flows to pixel‑perfect UI and interaction details.
• Rapidly prototype concepts, validate them with users, and iterate based on feedback.
• Design for complex, data‑rich screens while maintaining simplicity and clarity.
• Contribute to and evolve a mature design system, ensuring scalability across the product suite.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate human‑centered design within AI‑driven, agentic workflows.
• Conduct usability testing and participate in discovery activities to inform feature direction.

Required profile

• Comfortable working with ambiguous requirements and able to create clarity through questioning and design decisions.
• Strong visual sensibility with attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion and micro‑interactions.
• Experience designing high‑complexity, information‑dense interfaces.
• Proactive collaborator who can present and defend design choices to non‑design stakeholders.

Required skills

• Prototyping and wireframing tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Design systems and component‑based design methodology.
• Usability testing and user research techniques.
• Understanding of AI‑driven product workflows and how to embed human‑centered design.
