UX/UI Designer for European Institution (Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a talented UX/UI Designer to join our client, a European Institution based in Brussels. You will shape user‑centred digital experiences for complex public‑sector applications, working closely with developers and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct user research and workshops to translate business needs into design concepts.
• Create wireframes, user flows, high‑fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using Figma or equivalent tools.
• Define and maintain a consistent design system based on PrimeNG components, ensuring usability and visual consistency.
• Collaborate with Angular developers to guarantee accurate implementation and support user testing.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and GSC branding guidelines.
• Produce design documentation and participate in Agile@PM² ceremonies throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Required profile

• 4+ years of UX/UI design experience with an end‑to‑end portfolio.
• Strong proficiency with Figma (or equivalent) and component‑based design for modern web applications.
• Good understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum) and enterprise application design.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend developers and present design decisions to technical and business stakeholders.
