User Researcher – Legal AI (Remote, Germany)

About the role
We are looking for a User Researcher to join our Legal AI scale‑up. You will work fully remote from Germany, collaborating with product managers, designers, engineers and legal experts to uncover user insights that shape our AI‑driven legal solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify research needs with stakeholders and design qualitative studies such as interviews, contextual observations and diary studies.
- Plan and conduct quantitative surveys and analyse results using statistical and semantic methods.
- Translate findings into actionable product recommendations, personas, journey maps and research reports.
- Present insights clearly to cross‑functional teams and advocate for user‑centred decisions.
- Contribute to and improve the research framework and knowledge base.
Required profile
- Valid residence or work permit for Germany.
- Fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
- At least 1 year of user research experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or regulated sectors such as FinTech or LegalTech.
- Degree in Human‑Computer Interaction, Psychology, Human Factors or a related field.
- Strong mixed‑methods expertise and ability to turn data into clear insights.
