Treasury & General Administrative Expert – Brussels

About the role

As a Treasury & General Administrative Expert you will join Symrise's Global Treasury team in Brussels, supporting intercompany financing, accounting and compliance for the Belgian entity. You will work in a highly international environment and act as the key finance contact for local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and month‑end / year‑end closings in SAP.
• Prepare monthly reporting packages in Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Support recurring treasury activities such as cash monitoring, currency tracking and treasury reporting.
• Coordinate Belgian GAAP statutory reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, including reporting to the National Bank of Belgium.
• Serve as the main contact for auditors, banking partners and external authorities.
• Assist with financial analyses, documentation and administrative tasks related to treasury operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking or a related field.
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, treasury or a broad finance function.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, preferably Belgian GAAP.
• Fluent in English; French and/or Dutch are a plus.
