Technology Sales Senior Manager – Resources Industry

About the role

Accenture is looking for a senior technology sales leader to drive large‑scale, technology‑enabled transformations for clients in the resources sector, including utilities, chemicals and natural‑resources companies. You will own end‑to‑end sales cycles, engage C‑level executives and shape compelling value propositions that combine ERP, data, cloud and sustainability solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation to deal closure.
• Engage C‑level executives to address strategic challenges and position technology as a business enabler.
• Lead the creation of differentiated value propositions across ERP transformation (e.g., SAP S/4HANA), digitizing assets, Data & AI, advanced analytics, digital twins, cloud modernization, cybersecurity, managed services, and energy transition programs.
• Orchestrate deal teams with technology ecosystem, Industry X, commercial, legal, delivery and account leadership.
• Shape business cases, commercial models and financial structures that balance client value with Accenture growth.
• Develop strategic technology partnerships to build joint market‑leading offers.
• Drive origination initiatives and thought‑leadership sessions to fuel pipeline growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology services, cloud or infrastructure sales.
• Strong understanding of ERP transformation (e.g., SAP S/4HANA).
• Experience digitizing and optimizing physical assets and operations.
• Knowledge of Data & AI, advanced analytics and digital twins.
• Expertise in cloud modernization, cybersecurity and managed services.
• Familiarity with energy transition, sustainability and decarbonisation programmes.
• Proven track record of closing large, complex deals.
