Technology Sales Senior Manager – Financial Services

About the role

Accenture is seeking a senior leader to drive large‑scale, technology‑enabled transformations for banks, capital‑markets firms and insurers. You will own end‑to‑end sales cycles, work directly with C‑level executives and shape innovative solutions that modernise financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive complex sales cycles from opportunity identification through negotiation to contract signature.
• Engage C‑level executives to address strategic challenges and position technology as a business enabler.
• Lead the creation of differentiated value propositions across Applications, Infrastructure, Cloud, Data & AI, Core Banking modernization, Cybersecurity and large‑scale transformations.
• Orchestrate deal teams, collaborating with technology partners, commercial, legal, delivery and account leadership.
• Shape business cases, commercial models and financial structures that balance client value with Accenture growth.
• Develop strategic technology partnerships and joint market‑leading offers.
• Drive origination initiatives and thought‑leadership sessions to fuel pipeline growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology sales, business development or consulting within Financial Services.
• Proven track record of closing large, complex deals and managing multi‑million‑euro client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of financial‑services technologies and transformation programmes (core systems modernization, application and infrastructure outsourcing, etc.).
• Experience working with technology partners such as cloud providers, data/AI players and software vendors.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Strategic thinking, resilience and curiosity.
