Technology Internship

About the role

Join the Technology team at McDonald's Belgium headquarters for a hands‑on internship that supports a fast‑growing restaurant network. You will work on a variety of IT projects, gaining practical experience in hardware, software and infrastructure while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with laptop replacements and head‑office device provisioning.
• Support directory automation and related scripting tasks.
• Contribute to cybersecurity initiatives and disaster‑recovery validation.
• Document best practices for restaurant IT procedures.
• Coordinate and follow up on marketing and technology campaigns to ensure quality delivery.
• Provide end‑user technology support at the head office.
• Validate restaurant technology and infrastructure solutions.
• Help onboard staff, implement change‑management processes, set up reports and verify documentation.
• Create AI prompts or agents to automate repetitive tasks where appropriate.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Technology (at least second year).
• Native Dutch or French speaker with fluent English.
• Strong multitasking ability, customer orientation and attention to detail.
• High motivation and willingness to find solutions.
• Broad technical knowledge of hardware, software and IT infrastructure.
• Analytical mindset with systematic problem‑solving skills.
