Technician – Antwerp Region (High/Low Voltage & Cable)

About the role

Join Elia Belgium, a key player in the European electricity transmission system, as a Technician in the Antwerp Region. You will support the reliability and sustainability of the national grid by working on high‑voltage, low‑voltage, and cable‑line assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect the high‑voltage grid and transformer fleet.
• Perform electrical measurements and test new equipment before commissioning.
• Modify wiring diagrams and verify protection system settings for low‑voltage installations.
• Carry out checks, interventions and repairs on underground and overhead cables and lines, including work at heights up to 150 kV pylons.
• Ensure all activities comply with strict safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical secondary education certificate or a Bachelor’s degree in electricity, mechanics or electromechanics.
• Strong knowledge of electricity and ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Team‑player attitude with a proactive mindset.
• Commitment to safety as the top priority.
