Technical Project Manager – Large Customer Orders & Programs

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to coordinate and drive execution of complex customer programs and large orders for advanced infrared imaging systems used in industrial, scientific and defence applications. The role works closely with operations, engineering, supply‑chain and sales teams and is based in the Tienen/Leuven area of Belgium.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of customer programs and large orders, ensuring timeline, quality and cost targets are met.
• Act as the main interface between Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality and Sales.
• Track milestones, monitor progress and manage operational priorities.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks, follow up on open topics and delivery challenges.
• Support cross‑functional decision‑making and ensure proactive communication with internal stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5‑10 years of experience in project or program management within technical environments.
• Experience in electronics, manufacturing, imaging, semiconductors, aerospace, defence or industrial systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Fluent English and willingness to work in a cross‑functional, multi‑stakeholder setting.
