A400M Maintenance Manager – Belgium

About the role

The A400M Maintenance Manager will lead Airbus Defence & Space’s MRO network in Belgium, overseeing the maintenance of the A400M fleet at the Belgium Air Force Military Base in Diegem. The role is based on‑site and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ADS Belgium MRO team (7 FTE) and coordinate external MRO providers (>30 FTE) to meet on‑time, on‑cost, on‑quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, customer expectations, HR, ethics and safety standards.
• Manage the budget, financial processes and mitigate deviations with ADS Central.
• Coordinate all necessary functions (CAMO, engineering, logistics, planning, HSE, facilities) for efficient MRO activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, lessons‑learned workshops and maturity increase of MRO activities.

Required profile

• Qualified aerospace engineer with at least 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Proven project and team management experience in an aerospace environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English and French.
• EASA/EMAR Part 66 licence, category C, is valuable.
