Technical Project Manager - Computer Vision

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Project Manager who thrives at the intersection of technology, people, and delivery. You will lead a team of engineers and act as the primary contact for customers, guiding challenging computer vision projects from concept through to real‑world deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end vision projects, overseeing optical setup, hardware design, embedded/software components, algorithms, AI models and validation.
• Translate customer requirements into structured technical roadmaps and maintain clear communication on progress, risks and trade‑offs.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, ensure software quality, and embed DevOps (CI/CD) and MLOps practices.
• Manage planning, resources, budgets and reporting while coordinating internal teams and external partners.
• Continuously improve project methodology and tooling in collaboration with senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in computer vision, image processing, AI or machine learning, with a broad understanding of complete vision systems.
• Strong background in modern software development practices, DevOps workflows and productionizing ML models.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Project management training or certification is a plus.
