Technical Assembly Operator – Fixed-Term

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Assembly Operator to join our fast‑growing AI hardware startup in Brussels on a fixed‑term basis. You will work closely with the engineering team to assemble AI‑Blox devices and support testing and validation activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble AI‑Blox devices under engineering supervision.
• Support device testing and validation led by engineers.
• Prepare materials and components, picking items from the warehouse for workstations.
• Perform inventory counting and stock‑taking to keep records accurate.
• Organise, clean and optimise warehouse spaces for efficiency.
• Inspect assembled units and components for quality and completeness.
• Handle tools, materials and equipment safely.
• Assist the operations team with general production and logistics tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Hands‑on mentality with interest in assembling technical or electromechanical products.
• Comfortable working with tools, hardware components and production materials.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes and equipment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to support various operational activities.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Available from mid‑June until the end of July.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of electronics.
• Knowledge of electromechanical systems.
