Technical Architect Integration Services

About the role

As a Technical Architect within the Integration Services of the Infrastructure team, you will shape and evolve the organization’s integration landscape, driving the technical vision, governance and continuous improvement of integration technologies to meet current and future business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the target architecture for Integration Services and keep technology roadmaps up‑to‑date.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new integration technologies and support the evolution of existing platforms such as MQ, Kafka and API management solutions.
• Contribute to internal processes and standards, and support project teams in selecting and implementing appropriate integration solutions.
• Collaborate with development, operations and security teams to ensure robust, scalable and secure integration implementations.
• Identify opportunities to optimise services, enhance reusability and reduce complexity across the integration ecosystem.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Architect with strong expertise in integration technologies.
• Proven experience designing scalable, resilient and maintainable integration solutions for enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of integration patterns (request/reply, pub/sub, event‑driven), micro‑services and security protocols such as OAuth and TLS.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch or French (passive knowledge of the second language is acceptable).

• Managed file transfer tools: Sterling.
• Infrastructure as Code and container orchestration: Kubernetes.
• Cloud and hybrid integration architectures.
