Team Leader – Outbound Logistics (Early Shift)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for our outbound logistics function. The role operates on the early shift (6 am‑2 pm) and is central to ensuring efficient, high‑quality shipment execution within a dynamic warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage the daily outbound workload, aligning with warehouse planning and shipment schedules.
• Build, coach, and develop a strong outbound team through training, feedback, and performance management.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on outbound KPIs, ensuring targets are met.
• Plan resourcing in collaboration with the Operations Manager and Resourcing & Training Specialist.
• Maintain daily alignment with Senior Operators, act as backup when needed, and serve as the first point of contact for people‑related queries.
• Lead structured shift start‑up meetings and ensure clear communication across the shift.

Required profile

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply‑chain or a related field.
• Proven experience in warehouse planning and outbound operations.
• Demonstrated team‑leadership experience, including performance management.
• Willingness to work the morning shift (6 am‑2 pm).

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
