Team Leader Healthcare Claims

About the role

AXA Partners is looking for a Team Leader to oversee its Healthcare Claims Operations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring high‑quality service for customers across hospitalization, outpatient, and serious‑illness insurance lines.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and coach a Claims Operations team, allocating resources to meet KPI and SLA targets.
• Monitor daily activities, provide clear performance reporting and implement operational improvements.
• Participate in innovation, client onboarding and transformation projects as a change agent.
• Support recruitment, manage absenteeism and maintain a motivated team environment.
• Make on‑the‑spot decisions during workload peaks to ensure proper case follow‑up.
• Foster open communication, continuous improvement and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, set objectives and guide professional development.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance technical knowledge and align with AXA’s strategy.

Required profile

• Proven managerial experience in transformation and execution leadership.
• Strong decision‑making, influence, customer‑centricity, active listening, communication and empathy.
• Technical expertise in assistance, coaching, customer‑needs analysis and performance tracking.
• Analytical reasoning to interpret data, monitor KPIs and identify improvement opportunities.
• Proactive mindset with ability to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple priorities, absenteeism and team development.
