Support Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for IT support across our production and office environments. You will ensure that employees can work efficiently by delivering fast, customer‑focused assistance and helping maintain reliable IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support for hardware, software and user‑related issues.
• Register, analyse and resolve incidents and service requests in the ticketing system.
• Support Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, laptops, printers and mobile devices.
• Install software and configure new user accounts and workstations.
• Perform basic network, VPN and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Document incidents, solutions and actions, and escalate complex issues to second‑line support.
• Deliver excellent customer service to both production and office staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in IT Support, Service Desk or Helpdesk (internships welcome).
• Fluent in Dutch with a good working knowledge of English.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and organisational skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude and eagerness to learn.

Required skills

• Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Microsoft 365 suite.
• Basic networking and VPN concepts.
• Ticketing system usage.
• Microsoft Intune or ManageEngine Endpoint Central (nice to have).
• Sophos, Darktrace or general IT security knowledge (nice to have).
• Familiarity with ERP/SAP, MES, Linux or remote support tools (nice to have).
