Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for the accurate administrative handling and coordination of parcel flows within our distribution warehouse. You will ensure timely receipt, registration, and dispatch of goods while supporting internal stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Manage pre‑receiving and receiving processes, including accuracy, priorities, lead times, safety, and handling of non‑conformities.
• Coordinate and monitor transit goods, ensuring proper procedures, inspections, and identification.
• Supervise parcel put‑away, weekly clean‑up, and maintain warehouse order and cleanliness.
• Perform stock management tasks such as inventory checks, processing, and reporting.
• Administer returns, ensuring compliance, quality checks, and follow‑up actions.
• Handle non‑conformities administratively, register issues, follow root‑cause analysis, and communicate with stakeholders.
• Act as contact point for internal stakeholders, support continuous improvement, and ensure safe, organized operations.

Required profile

• Several years of logistics experience, preferably with multimodal transport (air, road, sea).
• Knowledge of road, air, maritime transport legislation and basic customs regulations.
• Understanding of dangerous‑goods regulations is a plus.
• Strong administrative accuracy, structured planning, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Fluent in Dutch (C2) and English.
• Collaborative, results‑oriented mindset with negotiation and project‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Knowledge of MAXIMO (preferred).
