Subject Matter Expert – Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Infrastructure to lead the migration of Citrix‑based services to cloud platforms and support our virtual desktop and printing environments. The role will work closely with application owners and internal teams to ensure stability, performance and continuous improvement of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the migration of Citrix services to cloud solutions and guide application owners through the transition.
• Maintain and support Citrix, Hosted Virtual Desktop (HVD) and enterprise printing infrastructures.
• Perform lifecycle management, patching and capacity planning for all platforms.
• Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd level support for Citrix, HVD and printing services.
• Create and keep technical and user documentation up to date.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents and participate in optimisation and modernisation projects.

Required profile

• Strong background with Citrix technologies such as XenApp, CVAD, StoreFront and WEM.
• Solid experience in Hosted Virtual Desktop environments.
• Proficient Windows Server administration, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Good PowerShell scripting abilities.
• Knowledge of enterprise printing solutions, SNMP and 802.1X authentication.
