Study Responsible Physician – Neuroscience Late Development

About the role

The Study Responsible Physician (SRP) will lead the design and execution of Phase 2/3 clinical studies within the Neuroscience Late Development portfolio. Working from our Beerse site, you will be a key medical contributor to a cross‑functional team delivering innovative therapies for complex brain disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials in the neuroscience therapeutic area.
• Contribute to the overall clinical development plan and draft study protocols.
• Develop trial materials, conduct protocol training, and support regulatory document preparation.
• Perform detailed medical data reviews, adverse event coding, and medical history assessments.
• Monitor patient safety through frequent site interactions, ensuring protocol compliance and high data quality.
• Collaborate with project management, finance, legal, quality, regulatory affairs, data management, medical writing, and other functional teams.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD) with board certification in a relevant specialty.
• Extensive experience in neuroscience clinical development, preferably late‑stage trials.
• Proven ability to lead medical safety oversight and interact with study sites.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial regulations and documentation requirements.
