Software Engineer – Python, C#/C (Railway Industry)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading railway industry player. You will design, develop, and integrate software components that power advanced railway systems, working in a multicultural, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with system architects to define clear software specifications and participate in design reviews.
• Develop and test software components primarily in Python, C#, and C++.
• Set up and maintain the software toolchain and version control using Git/GitLab.
• Support integration between software modules and hardware systems, working closely with test engineers and hardware designers.
• Reuse and improve existing solutions, including COTS components, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master's or Engineering degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics or a related field.
• Up to 3 years of software development experience (senior profiles also considered).
• Experience in a regulated industry (rail, aerospace, medical, defense) is a plus.
• Fluent in English; French is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Python.

• Experience with Git and GitLab for version control.
