Software Engineer – .NET, Azure (Hybrid, Aalst)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a leading healthcare company in Aalst. The role is hybrid, with three days per week on‑site, and focuses on evolving a business‑critical software platform built on .NET and Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET‑based applications and services.
• Contribute to software architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to define and implement new features.
• Optimise existing systems, processes and integrations for performance and scalability.
• Ensure high standards of software quality, reliability and performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong experience with .NET/C# and object‑oriented programming.
• Proficiency in Dutch; French is a plus.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and teamwork abilities.
