Senior/Lead Fullstack Software Developer

About the role

Jan De Nul Group is looking for a Senior/Lead Fullstack Software Developer to join its ICT Development team in Aalst. You will collaborate with analysts, architects and developers to design, build and maintain scalable software that supports the company’s central services, construction sites and vessels.

Key responsibilities

• Write high‑quality, unit‑tested code that meets functional specifications.
• Translate functional specs into concrete technical designs and communicate them to architects, analysts and developers.
• Coach and support developers in applying the technical architecture and best‑practice coding standards.
• Conduct regular code reviews, provide feedback and drive continuous improvement.
• Set up and maintain the development environment, including Git branching strategy, Azure DevOps build/release pipelines and Jira bug tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT‑related field with a focus on programming.
• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong communication skills, solution‑oriented mindset and ability to lead a development team.
