Software Engineer – Full-Stack (React/Node.js/TypeScript)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast-growing renewable energy company in Leuven that is building modern digital products at the core of its energy solutions. As a Software Engineer you will develop full-stack web applications that help businesses and communities use renewable resources more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack web applications using React, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to deliver new features.
• Improve application performance, scalability and overall user experience.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Contribute to technical discussions and help shape the direction of new and existing products.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing applications with React, Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of modern JavaScript development and full-stack architecture.
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrating backend services.
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices.
• Team-player with good communication skills and a proactive mindset.
• Interest in building technology that has a positive environmental impact.
