Software Development Engineer (Mid‑level)

About the role

Belden Solutions is looking for a mid‑level Software Development Engineer to join its Olen engineering centre. You will design, develop and maintain the software that powers XTran, a mission‑critical telecommunication platform used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software components for the XTran network management platform.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, QA and product teams in an agile environment to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines and deliverables, and participate in code reviews and debugging sessions.
• Introduce new technologies and platforms to keep the R&D group at the forefront of innovation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Sciences or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient code.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Proficiency in C# and the .NET framework.
• Experience setting up unit and component testing, including automated testing frameworks.
