Service Desk Engineer – Freelance (Brussels)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Service Desk Engineer to join our team in Tubize, supporting the football federation’s IT environment. This freelance position offers a blend of on‑site and remote work, providing first‑line technical assistance to internal users.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware and software issues via face‑to‑face interaction and ticketing system.
• Perform hardware repairs and manage device provisioning.
• Log, track, and resolve tickets in accordance with service management principles.
• Provide user training and guidance on IT equipment usage.
• Escalate complex incidents to specialised support teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in an IT service desk or similar role.
• Strong communication skills in French, Dutch and English.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
• Professional, calm demeanor with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• ServiceNow (or similar service management tooling).
• Microsoft Windows operating systems and Endpoint Manager (Intune, Autopilot).
• Microsoft Exchange and Azure cloud services.
• Hardware troubleshooting and repair.
