Data Tech Lead

About the role

Medi-Market Group is looking for a Data Tech Lead to transform its data platform into a modern, AI‑enabled ecosystem. You will act as the bridge between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring data pipelines are robust, cost‑effective, and ready for production AI use.

Key responsibilities

• Design and oversee the migration to a resilient architecture using Databricks Lakeflow, Spark Declarative Pipelines and Unity Catalog.
• Reduce the current 5‑hour data load to an orchestrated, parallel process for earlier data availability.
• Establish a centralized DAX repository to synchronize calculations across more than 1,200 semantic measures.
• Implement Application Lifecycle Management with distinct DEV, UAT and PROD environments.
• Introduce FinOps and cloud‑cost management practices within Azure and Databricks.
• Lead the deployment of large language models and predictive models using Mosaic AI, moving prototypes to scalable business value.
• Set standards for CI/CD, automated monitoring, data quality and observability.

• Proven ability to lead technical transformation of data platforms.
• Experience bridging business goals with engineering delivery.
• Strong focus on cost optimisation and operational excellence.
