Senior Tax Consultant – Global Compliance & Reporting

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Tax Consultant to join its Global Compliance & Reporting team in Diegem, Belgium. The role supports international and Belgian clients with tax compliance, reporting, and advisory services, helping them navigate complex Belgian tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage Belgian tax compliance obligations, including representation during tax audits.
• Implement international tax initiatives such as Pillar II into Belgian compliance frameworks.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement projects to increase efficiency of tax compliance workflows.
• Proactively manage a portfolio of client engagements, maintaining strong relationships and communication.
• Support and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and guiding their development.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in corporate tax, preferably within Belgian tax legislation.
• Proven ability to take ownership of deliverables and manage client relationships.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French or Dutch is a plus.
