Senior System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join a fast‑growing, remote‑first organization based in Belgium. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of internal IT operations while supporting employees across multiple regions and time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal users in a globally distributed environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, VPN, Citrix, and access‑management issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and provisioning in Google Workspace and Active Directory.
• Configure, deploy, and support Windows and macOS devices, including OS installation and device setup.
• Administer endpoint management and MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
• Handle support requests through Jira or similar ITSM tools while meeting SLA targets.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and oversee hardware lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to improve systems, user experience, and service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate IT support, system administration, or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Active Directory administration.
• Hands‑on experience with MDM/endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf, or equivalents).
• Proven ability to support both Windows and macOS environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, networking, and remote‑access technologies.
• Experience with VPN technologies, Citrix, and remote‑access tools.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and service‑desk platforms such as Jira.
• Customer‑focused communication style and ability to stay calm under pressure.
