Senior Specialist, HR Services (Benefits) – Europe (South & Growth)

About the role

Mastercard’s People Services team is looking for a Senior Specialist to lead Benefits operations across its Europe South and Growth markets. The role combines hands‑on administration with end‑to‑end ownership of complex, multi‑country processes, ensuring compliance, audit readiness and a high‑quality employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Tier 2 expert for Benefits, handling complex employee inquiries and escalations across assigned countries.
• Manage case intake and resolution in Workday Help (Ask People Services), processing roughly 25 cases per day while meeting quality, compliance and SLA targets.
• Own end‑to‑end benefits administration processes, including eligibility, lifecycle changes and vendor coordination.
• Identify root causes of issues, implement corrective actions and drive continuous improvement of benefits processes.
• Maintain robust controls, prepare for audits and ensure data integrity across all benefit programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR operations, benefits administration or shared services within an international environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with high ownership and decision‑making authority.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of investigating issues and delivering effective solutions.
• Comfortable managing multi‑country processes and navigating ambiguous situations.
• Excellent service orientation combined with rigor, accuracy and control.
