Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Spott is building an AI‑native recruitment platform and needs a senior engineer to own the backend of its core product. You will work on a fast‑growing team, shaping architecture and delivering high‑impact features.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Design and implement core product features and improve existing code to support rapid customer growth.
• Set technical direction for major backend components, lead design discussions and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with product and AI teams to integrate AI‑driven functionalities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• At least 4 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across a team.
• Experience influencing architecture decisions beyond your own scope.
• Interest or experience in AI‑driven applications (e.g., prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning) is a plus.
