Senior Reliability Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Wavre, Belgium. You will lead reliability initiatives that improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and support the delivery of high‑quality medicines and vaccines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement local and transversal reliability strategies to enhance equipment availability.
• Analyse reliability data, identify failure trends, perform root‑cause analysis and document corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, production and engineering teams to optimise preventive and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Conduct deep analysis of emergency events and propose major equipment‑availability improvements.
• Perform criticality analyses of equipment and processes to prioritise improvement projects.
• Support CAPEX projects ensuring reliability, sustainability and maintainability are built‑in.
• Prepare and present reliability points during L3 and L4 audits.
• Train and mentor colleagues on reliability best practices and DMAIC methodology.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related field).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in reliability engineering, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record of improving equipment and process performance.
