Procurement Officer – Pharma (Wavre)

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Officer to join our client’s pharma manufacturing site in Wavre. The role supports the supply‑chain team by handling purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and ensuring inventory levels meet production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders in the ERP system and keep purchasing data up‑to‑date.
• Maintain planning and inventory records, monitor stock levels and flag potential shortages.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm order receipt, delivery dates and quantities; track purchase orders and raise any delays.
• Coordinate documentation and delivery details with suppliers and support invoice discrepancy resolution.
• Assist the logistics team with inbound shipment coordination and compare actual deliveries against planning commitments.

Required profile

• Background in procurement or supply‑chain management, preferably in pharma or manufacturing.
• Degree in Business, Economics, Logistics or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and market analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP or procurement software.
