Senior QC Analyst - Bioanalysis

About the role

Labcorp is looking for an experienced QC Analyst to join its new CMC facility in Mechelen, Belgium. The role is onsite and involves performing and overseeing analytical testing in line with GMP requirements, working closely with QC Scientists and project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Perform and oversee analytical testing according to GMP requirements, study protocols and laboratory procedures.
• Review and evaluate test results, investigate trends or deviations and support problem resolution.
• Collaborate with QC Scientists and cross-functional teams so studies are delivered on time and to the highest quality.
• Receive and register samples and keep the laboratory clean at all times.
• Support method troubleshooting, transfer, validation and continuous improvement.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, documentation and quality records in line with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data integrity standards and GMP regulations.
• Contribute to audits, inspections, investigations and quality improvement activities.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for analytical techniques and support complex projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Science.
• 5 years or more of analysis experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated laboratory.
• 4 or more years of experience with PCR, bioassay and chemical testing (compendial, CE, HPLC).
• Preferred: 2 or more years of GMP experience in a QC environment.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is an added value.

Required skills

• Independent performance of a wide variety of analytical techniques.
• Computing skills, including word processing and spreadsheets (e.g. Microsoft Office).
• Understanding of health and safety and company policies.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, a can-do mentality and flexibility to take on other lab-related tasks.
