Senior Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to take full responsibility for the definition, planning, facilitation and successful delivery of medium‑scale ICT projects in an international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define, plan and govern project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues and change control.
• Lead cross‑functional, international project teams and ensure realistic, up‑to‑date project plans.
• Monitor performance (cost, time, quality, resources) and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver quality‑checked outputs and obtain formal stakeholder acceptance.
• Maintain clear communication through reports and governance meetings.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and act as the main point of contact for project communications.
• Support business decision‑making with relevant technical and business information.
• Oversee change management, contract performance monitoring and compliance tracking.
• Apply continuous‑improvement practices and promote new digital tools.
• Share expertise and mentor team members in project‑management best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with 3+ years of project‑management experience, or 10+ years of progressive experience.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience managing acquisition or development projects in large organisations.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional, international teams.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
• Eligibility for a national security clearance as a citizen of a NATO member state.
• Availability for full‑time onsite work in Braine‑l’Alleud, Belgium, with occasional travel.
