DevOps Engineer

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support critical NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) projects. You will work within a high‑performance team delivering secure, automated, and scalable solutions for defence‑related IT services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to fully automate application testing, integration, and delivery.
• Provision and manage hybrid infrastructure across on‑premises environments and public cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Administer container orchestration platforms to ensure reliable deployment and scaling of services.
• Collaborate with cyber‑security, command‑and‑control, and satellite communications teams to meet stringent NATO requirements.
• Support ongoing operational maintenance and continuous improvement of the NATO enterprise‑wide IT infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps or similar roles within complex, security‑focused environments.
• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and infrastructure automation.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to evolving defence standards.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline development and automation.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and practices.
• Container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
