Senior Project Manager Execution

About the role

Bio Blue is seeking a Senior Project Manager Execution to lead the delivery of its flagship greenfield biomethane plant in the Port of Ghent. You will own the end‑to‑end execution process, from construction preparation through commissioning, start‑up and hand‑over, ensuring the project meets scope, schedule, budget, quality and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the execution phase, coordinating engineering, procurement, contractors, suppliers and HSE teams.
• Translate the master schedule into practical execution plans, work packages and priorities.
• Monitor performance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, HSE, risks and changes.
• Identify risks and bottlenecks early, propose solutions and escalate decisions as needed.
• Lead coordination meetings and provide structured progress reporting to Project & Plant Management.

Required profile

• Degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of experience on large industrial, energy, infrastructure or CAPEX projects.
• Strong background in engineering management and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Proven ability to drive execution, manage technical interfaces and ensure contractor compliance.
