Senior Project Manager – EMEA

About the role

Planon is expanding its international delivery organisation and needs a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale, complex SaaS implementations across the EMEA region. You will own projects from early scoping through go‑live, creating structure, aligning stakeholders and ensuring predictable delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end international SaaS implementation projects, defining delivery approach, governance and implementation structure.
• Translate ambiguous early expectations into clear scope, aligned stakeholder expectations and executable delivery plans.
• Manage multidisciplinary delivery teams, including consultants, architects, offshore resources and partners.
• Maintain senior stakeholder relationships, proactively managing risks and preventing escalations through structured governance.
• Protect Planon’s standard product model by balancing customer ambition with scalable implementation and limiting unnecessary customisation.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in complex project environments, preferably enterprise SaaS or ERP.
• Proven ability to quickly understand new domains and turn complexity into structured delivery plans.
• Strong governance, planning and senior stakeholder management skills, including C‑level exposure.
• Experience managing international, multi‑stakeholder delivery environments.
• PMI certification (or equivalent) required or strongly expected.
• Fluent English; additional fluency in Dutch, French or German is a plus.
