Senior Project Manager – Business Applications & BI

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead Business Application and Business Intelligence (BI) acquisition or development projects for a large organization. The role involves full‑lifecycle management, from initiation through to closure, and requires strong coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects covering scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and change.
• Prepare and maintain project artefacts such as plans, milestone schedules, risk and issue registers, action logs, and governance reports.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including business users, data owners, developers, architects, finance, acquisition, and external suppliers.
• Engage senior stakeholders, customers, and multinational user communities, providing regular briefings and progress updates.
• Ensure successful transition and closure of projects, delivering agreed outcomes on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in Business Application or BI projects.
• Background in NATO, defence, governmental, international organisations, or complex ICT/business environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently, structure complex activities, and drive delivery against deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
