Senior Project Manager – Building & Power Management Systems

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager you will lead the integration, installation and commissioning of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Management Systems (PMS) within large-scale construction programmes, working closely with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Manager to manage schedules and integrate BMS/PMS packages into the overall construction timeline.
• Act as the on-site safety leader, conducting audits and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee procurement, installation and commissioning of all BMS and PMS components, meeting design specifications and client expectations.
• Coordinate with MEP teams, automation specialists, commissioning engineers and external contractors.
• Manage cost tracking for labour, materials, subcontractors and variations.
• Monitor on-site progress, resolve quality, safety or design issues promptly.
• Lead meetings with subcontractors and vendors, addressing technical challenges.
• Drive the handover process, delivering complete documentation, testing and commissioning reports for final acceptance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction or Project Manager on large, complex projects such as data centres, industrial or high-tech buildings.
• Degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Deep understanding of BMS, PMS and critical infrastructure systems in a construction environment.
• Experience managing specialist subcontractors and technology vendors in the BMS/PMS domain.
• Strong leadership, coordination and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering technical packages.
