Senior Project Manager – Agile Delivery (Freelance)

About the role

We are partnering with an organisation undergoing a major enterprise transformation and need a delivery‑focused Senior Project Manager to drive a high‑visibility programme. This freelance role is hands‑on, working closely with Agile software engineering teams to keep complex initiatives moving forward.

Key responsibilities

• Drive delivery across a large‑scale transformation initiative.
• Collaborate with Agile software engineering teams on sprint planning and roadmap execution.
• Coordinate stakeholder alignment and partner with Product Owners and senior business leaders.
• Manage delivery risks, timelines, and execution quality.
• Ensure teams stay accountable and focused under pressure.

Required profile

• Proven senior project or delivery management experience.
• Strong background in Agile software delivery environments.
• Comfortable working closely with engineering teams.
• Experience managing complex enterprise stakeholders.
• Confident in challenging estimations, scope, and delivery expectations.
• Fluent Dutch language skills.
