Senior .NET Core Developer – Distributed Systems

About the role

We are seeking an experienced .NET Core developer to join a partner company in Belgium. You will design, build, and integrate secure, scalable platforms that support complex enterprise environments, working with modern software engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade applications using .NET Core.
• Build and model APIs (REST, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenAPI) and integrate distributed system components.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, domain‑driven design, and system modeling.
• Develop security‑focused platform components, including control planes and policy‑driven workflows.
• Work with event‑driven technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pub/Sub.
• Ensure reliability, failure handling, monitoring, and operational readiness of services.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering and product teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of architecture and distributed systems design.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and proven technical leadership.

Required skills

• .NET Core and C# framework internals.
• API development using REST, GraphQL, gRPC, OpenAPI.
• Distributed systems and event‑driven architectures (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
• Security‑focused design and implementation.
• Domain‑driven design and system modeling.
