Senior Linux SysAdmin

About the role

Mind OSS is seeking a Senior Linux SysAdmin to lead migration projects from VMware to Proxmox across multiple client sites in Belgium. You will also support Kubernetes deployments and local AI setups while mentoring a growing team of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute VMware‑to‑Proxmox migration projects for diverse customers.
• Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and AI environments.
• Provide on‑site support at client locations throughout Belgium.
• Coach and train junior colleagues on best practices and open‑source tools.
• Participate in after‑hours or weekend work when project timelines require.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a Linux System Administrator.
• Strong understanding of business‑critical processes and operational reliability.
• Fluent English; Dutch or French is a significant advantage.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently on client sites.
• Willingness to travel across Belgium and adapt to varied work environments.
