Senior Legal Counsel

About the role

Join a mid-sized legal and compliance team that is expanding to support rapid business transformation. As a Senior Legal Counsel you will provide commercial and regulatory guidance, helping the organisation navigate complex agreements and evolving telecom regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal aspects of product harmonisation, policies, procedures and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Lead the standardisation of legal documentation for sales and procurement teams.
• Map and monitor key regulatory obligations, especially in data protection and telecommunications.
• Develop international template libraries and share best practices across the legal office.
• Co‑manage tools such as contract management systems, reporting trackers and e‑signature platforms.
• Coordinate external law‑firm projects and report progress to senior management.
• Collaborate with IT, technical and compliance teams to draft group policies.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law.
• 5‑7 years of experience in commercial or regulatory legal advisory.
• Interest in AI‑related legal frameworks and a background in telecommunications is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; French knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong communication, teamwork and entrepreneurial mindset.
