Senior Lead Software Engineer – Platform (Bangkok, Relocation)

About the role

Agoda is looking for a Senior Lead Software Engineer to drive the technical direction of its platform ecosystem. Based in Bangkok with relocation support, you will lead high‑impact initiatives that boost developer productivity, security, and reliability across the company.

Key responsibilities

• Define and steer technical strategy for critical platform domains, including CI/CD, developer tooling, and security automation.
• Design and evolve large‑scale platform systems that support software delivery at scale.
• Deliver initiatives that improve engineering productivity, operational reliability, and overall platform efficiency.
• Develop self‑service internal tools that enable teams to move faster with confidence.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in engineering, infrastructure, and security to align investments with business priorities.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise platform engineering standards across the organization.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering at a senior technical leadership level.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering large‑scale, business‑critical platform systems.
• Strong hands‑on expertise across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture to operations.
