Senior Java Developer – Risk Management Team

About the role

Everience is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join its Risk Management team within the B2B Belgium Business Platform. You will design and deliver high‑quality Java solutions, mentor junior developers, and help drive technical excellence for innovative energy services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and align solutions with business goals.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Java 11/17 and Spring technologies.
• Lead the development of critical components, ensuring timely delivery and high code quality.
• Mentor junior developers and promote continuous learning and best‑practice adoption.
• Conduct code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting to guarantee system reliability.
• Document technical solutions and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Java ecosystem trends and introduce innovative approaches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments and with DevOps practices.
