Senior IT Auditor

About the role

As a Senior IT Auditor you will join multi‑disciplinary audit teams to assess technology environments, identify risks and deliver actionable recommendations for our clients. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and help shape the audit approach for complex IT landscapes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technology audits and advisory projects, collecting data and analysing systems.
• Plan and execute risk‑based audits, report findings and follow up on recommendations.
• Lead smaller audits from start to finish, ensuring high‑quality and timely delivery.
• Keep engagement leaders informed and spot opportunities for additional services.
• Build strong client relationships and collaborate closely with team members.
• Stay up to date with market trends and share knowledge with junior colleagues.
• Integrate quickly into the team and provide support across projects as needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree and at least 4 years of experience in IT audit.
• Familiarity with controls assurance in complex IT environments; cloud, automation or emerging technologies are a plus.
• Understanding of key business processes and ability to assess IT risks in a broader context.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch or French.
• Strong relationship‑building, proactive mindset and ability to guide small teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISM or CIA are a plus.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn and confidence in using AI tools responsibly.
