Senior HR Generalist / HR Operations (FR/NL/EN) – Antwerp

About the role

We are seeking a Senior HR Generalist / HR Operations professional to support and strengthen HR operations for a premium retail client in the Antwerp region. The role is hands‑on, focused on hard HR tasks, payroll coordination and Belgian labour law compliance, and involves close collaboration with both local and international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle – contracts, amendments, onboarding, off‑boarding and documentation.
• Prepare and coordinate payroll inputs together with external payroll partners.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR operations support for the Belgian workforce.
• Act as the trusted point of contact for managers and employees on HR and payroll matters.
• Ensure accurate administrative follow‑up and process compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in an international environment.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives for HR administration and operational processes.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in HR Generalist, HR Operations or Hard HR roles.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour law and HR administration.
• Proven experience in payroll preparation and coordination.
• Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• Experience with HRIS systems.
• Background in retail, multi‑site or fast‑paced operational settings is a plus.
